Purvesh Shelatkar is a management graduate, with a degree in Master of Management (M.M.S.) in Finance & Economics, from the University of Mumbai. He is armed with over 26 years of rich experience in Capital Markets, ranging from Fund Management / Merchant Banking/ Research/ Finance. With a strong belief of imparting the knowledge, gained over his prolific career, he is also a passionate teacher and has tutored over 5000 management students, spread across institutes, over the past few years.

His experience of working across verticals (Equity Research, Banking, Asset Management, Securities, and Equity Trading), in capital markets, qualifies him to Head the Institutional Broking business at an established broking firm today. Amongst few traits which sets him apart are his skills in analytics and strategic thinking. Equipped with the success some businesses have witnessed, implementing strategies recommended by him, he continues to consult companies (across sectors) in his independent capacity.

Besides his financial acumen, Purvesh is also widely known for his understanding of Astrology. Having studied Astrology in great depths, Purvesh is also a practicing / consulting astrologer since 1991, with over 75,000 people (and counting) having benefitted, from his astro guidance, in shaping their lives and future.
