Tennis, a sport renowned for its elegance and global fan base, became a new frontier for Toyam Sports Limited (TSL) in 2022. Expanding its portfolio beyond MMA and cricket, TSL ventured into the world of tennis by partnering with the World Tennis League (WTL), often hailed as the “Greatest Sports in the Court.” The WTL was conceptualized by Mahesh Bhupathi, an illustrious figure in the world of tennis. 

In its inaugural edition, TSL participated as a sponsor, but the league’s overwhelming popularity inspired TSL to take a more prominent role. Consequently, TSL acquired ownership of a team in the league, proudly naming it the “TSL Hawks.” This move not only signified TSL’s deeper commitment to tennis but also demonstrated their ambition to make a significant impact in the sport. The TSL Hawks quickly became a recognizable and respected team within the league, showcasing TSL’s strategic vision and adaptability in the sports management arena.

The TSL Hawks successfully enlisted some of tennis’s top talents, including current WTA World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, ATP World No. 9 Hubert Hurkacz, WTA World No. 20 Caroline Garcia, and ATP World No. 11 Casper Ruud. These stars competed for the TSL Hawks at the Meteora World Tennis League in Etihad Arena in December 2023.
